"In the care of the hair the combination of soap, water, comb and brush is difficult to beat. I have washed my hair on an average of once a week all my life, and it has paid. Once in a while I have my scalp massaged with warm olive oil before it's washed. I use a very coarse towel when drying it. I use only soft water. Rinsing well is very important, too."

  1. Hmm, olive oil? Well, if it helps I have to try it! I have so much trouble with my hair but that's because I dye it. My natural color is very dark but I like my hair more when it's blonde.
I just found your blog, it's lovely! Take care!

    1. Hi Caroline, welcome to my blog!

I've heard alot of good things about olive oil for hair. It's also very good as a facial mask combined with egg and honey!

  2. Olive oil does wonders for your hair, especially if it's on the dry side. Not only does it improve texture and restore moisture, but I swear, it helps coloured (dyed) hair style more vibrantly hued (at least in my personal experience).

    1. Mhhh. I dye my hair quite often and I know camomile works wonders for blonde hair. I might try olive oil, too :-).
